The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 6 Consumed – Things you Missed!

Alright what’s going on guys it’s Trev back again here to bring you another video. In this one we will be talking about the walking dead season 5 episode 6 consumed. We will be going over some common things that some viewers may have missed from the episode which I think are important or just kind of cool to look at. Let’s have a look at one of the most easter egg filled episodes of the walking dead ever, consumed.

1. Rick’s Tank (17:26) – The very tank that Rick was trapped inside in the walking dead pilot season 1 episode 1 Days Gone Bye. “Hey you in the tank, cosy in there?”
2. Entering Atlanta (6:01) – Daryl and Carol drive into Atlanta in a shot for shot scene just like rick did when he rode in on horseback also in season 1 episode 1 Days Gone Bye.
3. From the Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 1 What Lies Ahead – Rick tries to get a hold of Morgan by walkie talkie on a rooftop. In the background we can clearly see Grady Memorial Hospital. Who would have thought it would become such an important location in the series. Amazing stuff AMC!
4. Carol’s flashback and The child walker at the door.
5. Daryl was abused when he was younger (26:53)
6. Noah is watching (19:15)

  1. I saw someone comment that “Z Nation” is better than The Walking Dead.
Their reasoning was this: More action, less dialogue.

It was by the far hardest I’ve laughed at a comment in a long time. Sorry
bitch, but the Walking Dead isn’t about zombies. It’s about the *motherfucking
    characters*.

  2. Trev i have a video suggestion. Way back in season 1 episode 3 when
everyone is around the campfire Lori tells Rick that he was going to be
transfered to a hospital in Atlanta. Do you think that they were refering
    to Grady Memorial?

  3. “Things you missed!” more like things you missed -.- And it would’ve
annoyed less people if you’d put things you /may/ have missed. I didn’t
miss any of these so this video ain’t kind of stupid -.-

  4. I say Beth has a 99.9% chance of dying. And I don’t know about Easter eggs,
don’t you think they used the same shots for budget purposes? I mean it’s
not like they went back and shot at the same location, they just used the
same exact shots and aged it using some CGI to help the budget. Way cheaper
than all new locations or a different angle or view of the tank,
    highway….

  5. Great video 😀
Only thing I noticed: I think Daryl picked up the book this very episode,
it was lying on a table some minutes before.

Quick question: Do you think all the scenes with Carol and smoke are
somehow foreshadowing her death? Since I can’t really think she could be
taken out easily, but trapped somewhere near a fire could be it for her …
hopefully still a few seasons time until then though XD

  6. -_- the book thing is annoying me. Daryl didn’t have that book with him
and he defiantly didn’t “carry it around” with him. So that explanation of
why he pushed the gun away makes zero sense.

  7. Can’t believe anyone would have missed any of these at all, except maybe
Noah. Also sloppy mistake about the book that Daryl dropped – he picked it
up from the shelter, it’s not something that he’s had all along. It was on
the desk in their room, FFS.

  8. I thought I’d share this but Daryl actually picks up the childhood abuse
book while they are at the women and children’s shelter before they head
out. It’s on the desk he grabs the notepad to burn. When it drops out the
bag you can see the silent exchange between them she has realized
throughout this episode that he is a different man now. Which is why she
cries for him to save Noah the second time. She saw he was hardening and
she did that for daryl to preserve his transition and evolvement.

  9. Does anyone who has watched The TV show Lost agree that in the van scene,
the statue in the front kinda looks like the drug virgin mary statues in
lost? i dont really know it just reminded me of lost.. anyone agree?

  10. another easter egg is the bus daryl and carol were in is the bus we saw at
the end of season 1 ep ? were they go back to rescue merel (don”t know if
it was at end but it was there)

  11. The book belonged to Carol didn’t it? She was the one who picked it up in
the room. I think she took it because it used to be there when she went
there with sophia to escape get husband.

  12. I haven’t read any other comments so I don’t know if anyone else noticed.
If you watched Lost like I have then you will probably remember how Boone
dies. The plane that John Locke found with Boone in the jungle on the cliff
had virgin Mary statues in it. Just like the one on the dash of the van
that Daryl and Carol were in on the bridge. Maybe this was unintentional
but being a Lost fan I noticed it right away as soon as I seen it. I feel
like it isn’t a coincidence because the situation itself felt like an
homage to the scene from Lost. The plane would tip just like the van would
and it eventually fell off the cliff just like the van did. let me know if
    you noticed this too.
