The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 11 – The Distance Review

Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you another video. In this one we will be reviewing another fantastic episode of the

walking dead tv series which is season 5 episode 11 the distance.

So in this week's episode we see Rick and the others decide to give the Alexandria Safe Zone a chance despite them not initially trusting Aaron one

bit. Rick especially has a lot of trouble with trusting him and right up until the very last moment is internally struggling within himself to let go

and give the place a chance. Michonne, Maggie, and Glenn seem to really like Aaron and want to give it a shot and so they do. In the end this was an

extremely fun episode with lots of things happening and some awesome zombie kills, especially the flare gun zombie headshot from Rick. I am going to

give this week's episode a 9.5 out of 10.

  1. I loved this episode. Intense scenes and good writing. The people
complaining about there being a gay couple are pathetic. This isn’t the
first show to do this. No one cares if your gonna stop watching it becuz
    there’s a gay couple you’re just a pathetic human

  2. Was the Gay Couple really necessary? No Offense but it seems every TV show
feels like they HAVE to have a gay couple when in reality only 3-4% of
    americans are actually gay.

Also again NO Offense but if You really care About Survival and Re
Populating the earth in TWD universe, hate to bust your bubble but
Homosexuals can’t pro create. In Fact their lifestyle is more associated
with disease issues in a high %. Which makes the whole point of having them
    seem less realistic.

I don’t see any Indian or Muslim Characters Casted in this show and there
are heck of a lot more than 3-4% in the US. So Why is it necessary?

  3. I loved this episode but now I’m gonna hope TWD show takes its time with
Alexandria. Because as of this episode they are about 70 Issues into the
    series.

While I do want to see Negan and his Ark in Something to fear and All out
War, I really hope it takes a while so we can develop the characters within
The safe zone, and have some interesting character development. Because
Honestly The last BIG BAD (The governor) is still fresh in our minds. We
    need breathing room till Negan

If the show takes its time, we won’t see Negan until around probably Season
7 earliest, Season 8 latest. Which I won’t be mad about..

  4. The part where Abe asks Glenn where he learned about the extra batteries
put a big smile on my face. No words were needed to know what that moment
was. Not a big fan of Dale but it’s good once in a while to think about the
    past characters now gone.

  5. Another amazing episode! Ahhh! very blood pumping action!
It’s so nice that they got to Alexandria without any problems. I honestly
expected that Aaron’s people would come stormin out of the trees with like
machine guns and guard dogs and
all kinds of weapons.. but Aarons was telling the truth.. Rick with his
paranoid self as usual lol you gotta love him

  6. Hey Trev did you catch the line where Aaron said to Noah that they have a
good Sergen at Alexandria named Pete?… Come on that there kinda confermes
that the Rick vs Pete fight 8s gonna happen

  7. Didnt you find some scenes a little out of character? I kown they are
caucious with strangers, and more with friendly strangers, but they behave
like completly douchebags without the need. More so: in some scenes they
contradict themselves after a few seconds, like in the chat between Glenn
and Michonne, where he is acting like a tough guy and after michone asks a
ironically question Glenn go back to the pacifist man. it also happenned
with the discussions between Rick and Michonne. I think that this time
everybody act like the bully type, more than the smart, strong group that
doesnt have to go treatenig or punching to show fearless. Dont get me
wrong, the episode was greath, the best of this half, but I feel that the
dialogues and the argument structure of this last seasson are getting
    weaker and full of common-places

  8. I think the directors know the fans are expecting Glenn’s death with Negan
and the bat since they have been teasing and foreshadowing with it all
season long. I feel like on the scene where Glenn bashed the walker’s head
on the ground with the rock, they teased it deliberately again.
