This is my review for the walking dead season 4 episode 8 too far gone. This episode was like a season finale episode, even though it is technically the mid-season finale for the first half of the walking dead season 4. Please be warned the rest of this description contains spoilers.

Wow what an exciting episode, picking up where we left off from last week with the governor taking both Michonne and Herschel hostage. This was probably the most climactic episode of the walking dead television series ever. The battle that breaks out at the prison between Rick's group and the governor's group was amazing. Rick's group may have had the prison for shelter to defend from but The governor has brought Mitch with his tank. Wow what an exciting battle and event. I don't care what anyone says, this is the best episode of a tv series ever.

From the battle scenes to the death of The governor, the death of Herschel, the battle with Daryl fighting off and then killing Mitch the tank operator, to Rick's group being in dissarray and the entire battle sequence this was the greatest.

It is going to be a tough wait to see what happens next with the return of Season 4 episode 9 in February but I definitely can say the first half of the walking dead season 4 was not a disappointment in any way shape or form. This is what we all kind of wanted to see in the season 3 finale. Amazing stuff.

I am giving the walking dead season 4 episode 8 too far gone a 10 out of 10, another great episode. As always, thanks for watching everyone! .

  1. Lilly killing off the governor was SO pointless since she just gets killed
off off screen. What a fucking joke the main twd villain is kiled off by a
character that we never see again. (yes i know she killed him in the comics
    and thats just as bad)

  2. What I want to know is who fed the rats to the walkers, my predictions are
either the alcoholic black guy(not tyrese) or carl, but there is no valid
reason for why they would do that…

  3. In retrospect this episode, while good, is completely full of shit. the
governor has a twenty man team attacking the prison, not to mention a
goddamn tank! ricks side? rick is cornered with no ammo and essentially
weakened cuz of his handicap. u know daryl will bring it, carl pretty much
goes MIA but i assume hes involved, sasha, bob. now, beth and tyreese are a
COMPLETE WASTE with a firearm. they cant shoot for shit. then we have
maggie who i feel is a formidable fighter but spends the scenario wasting
her time and effort trying to get beth and glenn to understand the simple
sentence “stay on the stupid bus!” we have some unnamed black dude who
manages to get a kill with a rifle at least. and finally lizzie, a child of
all people, gets two kills and saves useless tyreese. come. on.
in the end…. its 20 vs 6 and the governors team is wiped out while ricks
group suffers… 2 casualties? one being a prisoner of war? ……… ye i
    dunno bout that.

  4. This was an excellent review, for an excellent episode of TWD. I only
disagree on one point…we don’t have enough information to say that Judith
is definitely dead. In my mind, that’s still up in the air.

  5. ***Spoiler Alert*** Ok I’m actually glad the governor went, Not just
because he was a bastard but that eye patch was distracting, Every time I
saw it it looked like he had a frigging oreo strapped to his head.

  6. Thumbs up if you think Rick should have asked the Governor the 3 questions
    when he was dying.
“How many walkers have you killed?”
“How many people have you killed?”
    “Why?”
It would have been cool to hear the Governor’s responses.

  7. Iam hooked with the series. I watch all 3season and start the new season.
But i think i miss a few episode.my last one was when the people in the
school bus move in.help..i miss any other to catch up..

  8. After watching this episode for the first time I was blown away. Then I
watched it again and thought to myself how bad the writing was. Why was the
tank shooting at the prison that they were trying to live in, instead of
the people shooting at them. Why does everyone disappear at the end? They
killed everyone except for a couple of zombies. They could’ve waited 5
minutes to regroup and make sure everyone’s okay. How come Daryl can use a
zombie as a shield and have bullets not go straight through it, but in one
of the earlier episodes he can shoot an arrow through one and have it hit
another. Why would the Governor kill Herschel instead of Michonne? Isn’t he
still pissed about his daughter and his eye? The writing is so bad in this
show, but I can’t stop watching.
