The Walking Dead Season 4 Easter Eggs – Mary In The Painting and Zombie Bub!

Alright what's going on guys in this video we will be talking about a lot of the easter eggs shown so far in the walking dead season 4. We will be talking about the Mary painting from the house in Claimed where Carl and Michonne were going through as well as the sunflower from there. I believe we are to assume this was Mary's house. We will also be talking about a very special zombie from Day of the Dead we see Bub make an appearance in episode 15 US as Glenn and Tara are making their way through the tunnel to find Maggie. Let me know what you guys think of all of these Easter eggs in season 4 and what your thoughts are. As always, thanks for watching!

  1. I think the painting was supposed to represent Lizzie after she killed
Mica. Mica had blood all over her and the blood on the painting could
represent the literal and metaphorical blood on her hands when she killed
Mica. On the other hand, the blood from the mouth could represent how Mary
    was a cannibal.

  2. It isn’t Mary in the painting. The person in the painting was one of the
corpses that was in the house they were scavenging if you looked at the
    bodies.

  3. Trev I love your Walking Dead Vids, I hope you don’t let them go completely
after Season 4, because it will be like a 7 month wait to the next TWD
Season, so it would be nice seeing some additional content or infos about
next Season or something like that! :)

  4. You sure love to hear yourself talking. “Let me explain to you what an
    easter egg is”? Really?

About Mary? So she did the painting, far from Terminus, using prescience?
And the hair is parted in the middle for Mary, in the painting, it is in
    the middle.

Easter egg about “zombie bub”? Really?

Dude. Do NOT try doing another video. This sucks too badly.

  5. It’s funny how George Romero thinks the Walking Dead is a soap opera with
zombies when the show is called a Zombie DRAMA. Romero must be pissed off
that they used one of his zombies in the show.

  6. The scene where Glenn & the group approaches Mary, the big pot she is
cooking in has a hand sticking out of it ( on the right side of the pot.).
When the camera pans in close to Mary She’s blocking it from view…

  7. Great topic. In “30 Days” Michonne talks about bringing her search for the
Governor to Macon. She’s even looking at a map in her cell.

Yellow flowers are very ominous this season. Have you painted a picture of
a yellow flower recently? U gonna die. Do they grow next to your home? U
gonna die. Do you enjoy looking at them? U r SO dead. Have you recently
completed a long trek to a sanctuary that’s brimming with sunflowers? Hmm…

I’m liking this cult theory floating about in relation to Gareth, Mary, and
Terminus. I wonder if the killings at the house might’ve been ritualistic.
My alternative theory for Beth’s abduction is that Gareth or whomever
(Gabriel?) took her to “be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth.”
These people are going to need numbers if they’re indeed religious nutcases
and feel they must atone for humanity’s sins. A healthy young woman would
be very valuable to their re-population program. And perhaps it’s all tied
into the cannibalism angle, then again maybe it’s not. Gah! I can’t wait
    for Sunday!

  8. I think that each picture represents an event and/or person in each
sequential episode. The painting of the dog symbolizes the one-eyed dog
that Daryl saw at the funeral home, which was possibly a trap. The picture
of the rabbits symbolizes multiple things. Lizzie killing the rabbits,
Daryl and Len claiming/ fighting over a rabbit, and Rick teaching Carl how
to capture rabbits (which in itself is a metaphor for Terminus). The
sunflowers represents Lizzie and Terminus because everyone’s “looking at
the flowers” (hoping that Terminus is the sanctuary that they all want it
to be/ In Lizzie’s case, a psychological coping mechanism) and blinding
themselves from logic (“if it’s too good to be true, then it is”/ walkers
aren’t people). And the painting of the lady is NOT of Mary; however, it
does represent her. It is of the mother who killed her children then
herself inside of that house. The mother felt that it was a necessary evil
to kill her own children to protect them. And Mary feels that it is a
necessary evil to kill and eat people in order to survive (if she is a
cannibal, which is very likely at this point).

  9. Do you know why Bub was in that episode? Because Greg Nicotero did the make
up with Tom Savini for that movie. There is also a Return of the Living
Dead homage as well. You kids need to do a lil more research–

    Good show though

  10. I guess mary got raped by that guy so i wonder if they are gonna show how
they got terminus back not that it matters in the show but as a bluray
extra that would be interesting to watch unfold

  11. What about the ‘Shane’ walker that Daryl kills when he runs out of the
funeral home in Alone? I don’t know if it was foreshadowing anything or
just a tribute to Shane’s character.

  12. In the comic books there are the hunters.
    Hint(Terminus)
The hunters in the comic books ate there children for food.
Hint(Terminus ate people. Look at the skeletons.)
The hunters would follow and trick people to come to them so they could eat
    them.
(Terminus put signs up tricking people to go to them for food.)
