The Walking Dead season 5, episode 7, "Crossed" is reviewed. Father Gabriel is in a panic over his place in the walker world, while Daryl mobilizes Rick, Sasha, Tyreese, and Noah to save Beth and Carol with a plan to storm the hospital. Beth launches her own mission to save Carol, who is being taken off life-support, while Abraham is shell-shocked over what happened with Eugene, and Maggie gives him a dose of reality. Otherwise, Glenn, Tara, and Rosita seem to have a pretty nice time, all things considered. What will happen in the mid-season finale? Who will die, and who will survive?

Kim Horcher, Francis Maxwell, and Tim Frisch discuss.

  1. This show is so over-rated -_-

It’s obvious why WTF reviews this show with a hot tongue, it brings in the
views as long as they stay optimistic. But this show is so much worse than
their reviews reflect. This is my biggest issue with What The Flick and I
don’t even blame them for it.

  2. Does anyone else want Gabriel to just die already? Not only is he
completely useless, but he’s a liability. He’s likely to get someone
    killed.

  3. Norman Reedus said that he cried shooting for the next episode

“Reedus describes the hour’s final moments as so devastating that they
unleashed an intense wave of feelings before the cameras rolled. ‘I sat on
an apple box with my head between my legs and just balled for an hour,’ he
says. ‘I really wanted not to tear up during [the scene] — I wanted to be
like I wasted every tear in my body before we started shooting — so I just
sat there and cried and cried and cried.’”

So it seems like either Beth or Carol are gonna die :/ My money’s on Carol
with episode 6 in mind – it’d just be that little more tragic.

  4. Why the hell did they take Sasha and Tyrese on their mission? Michonne is
probably their best fighter and Carl is more than capable. But no, instead
they take the big wuss Tyrese who can’t kill anything anymore and Sasha
who’s clearly not in the right mental state.

  5. Tyrese is so much of a big wuss that it managed to infect Daryl. Rick had
that situation all locked up, but NO. Let’s not kill the enemy. Let’s try
for the umpteenth time to do things peacefully even though literally every
time they’ve attempted this it’s resulted in tragedy.

  6. The reverend dood is such a dumbass lol. Taking people for their word “they
were going to leave, they said so” yea, no. They ate people. I imagine the
group woulda told him that by now.

And Tyreese needs to stop being a pansy himself. They shoulda just gone in
with Rick’s plan. They coulda tried to use non-lethal tactics when they
    entered anyways.

I don’t think anyone is going to die in the next episode. After all, Bob
    died not long ago.

  7. It’s hard to keep a zombie show fresh after five seasons. What more could
this group possibly do to make things exciting? Kill off a secondary
character no-one cared about in the first place? We need a different group!
Kill Rick, put someone else in charge.

  8. Tim totally got that wrong about the medicine. 5mg was the concentration
not the volume of the epinephrine, and that bag of saline it was injected
into is the IV drip the doctor told Beth to do. The bag was already
connected by tube to Carol’s vein.

  9. One of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen of the walking dead. The show has
really slowed down, feels like they are milking every episode with filler.

  10. My hunch is that Carol will die next episode. (I’m ignorant when it comes
to the comics and it’s developments) I love her character, but it feels
like her story arc has brought her to a place where she is dead inside and
just going through the motions. It feels like this new world has
completely drained her and she has nothing left to give (survival skills
notwithstanding). I hope I’m wrong as I want to see her character get some
    spark back and continue on….

  11. AND, that’s the last Walking Dead review I watch. Some of us don’t watch
the previews…thanks for making that choice pointless.

  12. Rick’s group unloads bullets into that cop’s car and the only visible
damage is 4 shots to the windshield? The same people who can headshot
every zombie every where can’t shoot a car?

  13. I really want that explosive pulse from the first episode of the season to
come back. I hate the different group vignettes. The show is at it’s best
when everyone is together with a clear misson.

  14. Where is John Iadarola? This review is so difficult for me to watch.
Maxwell’s accent just hurts my brain because I have to concentrate so hard
trying to understand him and the hooker lady keeps distracting me flashing
    her legs.

  15. It is the writing on this episode made no sense last episode Daryl wanted
to charge after n get carol now he wants a peaceful resolution wtf that’s
not even daryls character the show is starting to make up stuff as it goes
and I’m a fan but not a fanboy fanboys make the excuse of their evolving
the characters that’s nor evolving when someone u dnt know takes a family
member then their people draw weapons on u but u Want to do an exchange man
if I were Rick I would have a meeting and say look u pussies its my way or
the highway no more peace shit its killed or be killed they gone have to
hurry up n start the spinoff season cause its obvious they are out of real
    story between the comic Arch’s
